Master Cleanse: Day 3
14 days of eating nothing but lemon juice, maple syrup and cayenne pepper.
Day 3, 11 more to go....
Progress so far...
~exhausted, making it difficult to do more than watch hours upon hours of the food network and get up to do nothing more than pee and make more "meals"
~Headaches are subsiding; starting with the hunger headache, up the back of your neck into the back of your head; then switching to the detox headaches that go in a band around the front of your head and get progressively worse through out the day
~tongue is totally coated in white gunk, suprisingly a good sign when one is doing a fast, means all that nasty mucus is coming to the surface
Now I am only waiting for ketosis to kick in so that I feel better. In fact I know I will feel better than better, there is eurphoria in my future folks, be sure of that.

you have more stamina and self control than i could ever muster! The best I can manage involves stripping down to water and fruit . . . the days without coffee and chocolate are HELL!!
If you have a chance to send Chicken Man to the video store for lovely viewing entertainment other than the Food Channel, you might want to consider renting Deadwood . . . more swearing than the prop shop, and a similarly convoluted, yet increasingly compelling story. And the Chinese guy has some really interesting recipes . . .
Got to work now . . . but curiousity consumes . . . do you put the cayenne in with the maple syrup or with the lemon juice??
much love

. . . and then the other thing I would really like to know is whether or not our good ol' buddy Currency Trading has actually read any of your blog. Like, really, he/she/it should at least mention "mmm . . . great blog, your tongue sounds gross . . . rock on and start trading . . .". Just a little more honourable somehow, when it seems like the program/person has engaged a little. I mean, whatever happened to the concept of honour among thieves???
xo
You actually put the lemon juice (juice of one whole organic lemon), the maple suryp (2 tablespoons of organic grade C), and the cayenne (1/10 a teaspoon) all together with one quart of water (hot or cold) and that's your drink. It actually taste pretty good (especialy when you get to lick the suryp spoon)
